Hey Everyone!

It’s Cory from the Douglas office! I just want to start off with a little about myself. I have been with the Eye Institute of Wyoming for almost 7 years. I have a 4-year-old son and got married in June. We recently just ought a house, so this year has king of been a whirlwind.

I came to the Eye Institute of Wyoming in February 2013. At the time I was unaware of the bonds and friendships I would create with my coworkers, as well as my patients. I was only 24 at the time and just thought I needed something for the time being that would pay the bills.

Since I have started working here, I have gotten my Certified Paraoptometric certification. I have learned a ton about the industry. Above all that, I have had the opportunity to meet and help with so many different, wonderful and kind people. I love to chat with patients as I am doing my pretests and learning about them and what they enjoy. My job ultimately is to make sure our patients have a kind and professional experience from the time they walk in to the time they check out.

I hope our patients enjoy us as much as we enjoy them.
