Contrary to popular belief there is a lot more to working with an optometrist than one may consider prior to working in our office. There are many things that happen behind the scenes that our Patients do not have the pleasure of taking part in. These things include learning and seeking knowledge about the eye, such as anatomy, common conditions, infections, and self inflicted anomalies. It is an interesting consideration, to know as a person that we have eyes and they help us see but to seek no further into the basics of the science behind our vision. We as Technicians help assist the Dr. in providing the best care for Patients, but we also have a general push in the direction for further education in understanding the eyes and all the relative matter that comes with the two organs. As your local friendly CPO and EIW Technicians we would wholeheartedly encourage those of you who visit our office to ask all the questions, as there is no question too big when it comes to fully comprehending the health of your eye, the tests that are administered during your exam, and perhaps taking knowledge with you when you walk out the door.

Thank you for tuning in;

Sarah, Whitnay, Rebecca and Sara EIW Technicians
